Great People Supporting Our Centre

Jon O’Hara, Holly Notcutt, and Kalvin Scott who have each completed or are in the process of completing challenges to raise monies for Palliative Care East.  Jon O’Hara completed the Ironman UK which involved 24 miles swimming, then a 112 mile bike ride, and then running a marathon.  He completed this in 13hours and 35 minutes.  The marathon was a tough challenge as it was completed during torrential rain which made it even harder.  Jon works for Shell and has had the support of his wife and son throughout the training and the challenge itself.  Jon raised over £3000 for this challenge and monies are still being accepted on Just Giving for this.  For up to date information visit Jon’s Just Giving page.

Holly Notcutt works at Great Yarmouth Borough Council and was sponsored to cycle to Paris by  her colleagues at work.  Holly raised £500 for the charity.

Kalvin Scott works in pharmacy at JPUH and lost his girlfriend Natalie to cancer and has committed to run 500 miles and swim 50 miles during 2013 with the end date being 20th December.   So far to date he has run 330 and swam 27.5.  For up to date information go to his Just Giving page.
