LEGACIES

HOW LEGACIES CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Your gift will ensure future generations receive the care and support they need.  A gift in your will doesn’t need to be large to make a difference and we receive all types of gifts from small items of value as well as a range of cash sums. Whatever size of gift you choose to leave, your gift could help in the following ways.
*A sum of £200 would allow us at the Centre to give an additional 5 hours of complementary therapy.   Which in itself does not sound much but to somebody who has not had any time to themselves because they have been caring for their loved one, they think they have been given a wonderful gift.
*A sum of £500 would allow for 30 hours of welfare advice, which when the main wage earner is in hospital can easily alleviate the stress of worrying how the household bills are going to be paid, so that then relieves the husband/wife/carer of that.
*If we were to be donated a £1000 then that would allow us to hold 40 extra counselling sessions to help and support those dealing with a terminal or pro-longed illness.  This is not only for the patient but also their families.
*A sum of £2000 this would allow the Centre to give a total of 80 additional hourly relaxation sessions.  This would make an enormous difference to the patient, which in turn can actually affect the wellbeing of the whole family unit.  Response from those sessions that have already taken place in the Centre has been over whelming and as such this is one area that we really want to expand.
It is thanks to people like you who remember us in their Will that we can continue to provide the services within the Louise Hamilton Centre and support them, their families and carers. It costs over £200,000 a year to maintain the Centre and gifts in wills is an essential source of income.
It is helpful for us to know about any intended gifts so that we can thank you for your incredible generosity and keep you informed about our good work and future developments at the Centre.
