SKY DIVE RAISES £1315.00
Della Rohrbasser ( pictured) and a work colleague took part in a sky dive on Saturday 23rd May 2015 in aid of Palliative Care East . Della said afterwards
“It was truly amazing and one of the best experiences of my life. I would recommend everyone to do it as It’s really awesome and not half as stomach churning as some fairground rides. The feeling of floating through the air is like being in a different world. “
The whole day was filled with excitement, joy and total emotion. It was made even more special for me as doing it in memory of my dear mum and to raise money for you guys.
To date we have raised £1923.87 which includes £1315.00 from the parachute jump towards The Louise Hamilton Centre. Fund Raising Co-ordinator Maxine Taylor thanked Della for raising this wonderful amount of money and Della was presented with a certificate for the amount raised.
